How to turn on SpeechBooster in the Oticon Companion App

Below are the steps needed to turn on SpeechBooster using the Oticon Companion App.

SpeechBooster is helpful in situations you would like to reduce background noise and better focus on a conversation.

1. Open the Companion App on your device.

2. Once open, tap the Sound icon at the very bottom, left hand side of the screen (show in dark grey in picture below):

3. Tap the SpeechBooster icon closer to the right hand side of your screen as shown in picture below:

4. Toggle the switch to the right.

5. Once the switch goes from grey to green, SpeechBooster is now on. You can Tap X to close the window.

6. NOTE that SpeechBooster will deactivate if you change programs, open the battery door (for one time use battery hearing aids), or when rechargeable hearing aids are placed in their charger.

7. To turn off SpeechBooster, toggle the switch to the left, and it will turn from green to grey (as shown in picture below):

8. When SpeechBooster is off it will show as grey, and it will show as pink when on (as shown in picture below):
