Close the battery door
Plug the microphone into the “Mic” jack and the earphones or headphones into the “Earphone” jack
Put on the earphones or headphones
Turn on the PockeTalker by turning the volume control counterclockwise. The Red “on” indicator light on the top of the unit should be lit
Adjust the volume up/down based on your preferences
Adjust the tone based on your preferences (turning it clockwise boosts the high frequencies, turning it counterclockwise boots the low frequencies)
The PockeTalker Ultra will now pick up sounds and boost them according to the volume you’ve set. For best results, hold the microphone of the PockeTalker as close as possible to the person who is speaking.
