How to set up the Pocketalker 2.0
*The Pocketalker 2.0 has an internal and external microphone for your convenience*

  1. Open the battery cover at the back of the Pocketalker

  2. Insert the batteries that come in the box

  3. Close the battery cover

  4. Wear the earphones or headphones that come with your Pocketalker and insert the end into the headphone jack

  5. If you need to use the extended microphone; plug it into the external microphone jack at the top of the Pocketalker

  6. Turn ON the device by rolling the "Power On/Off volume adjust" dial located at the front. A Green light should light up to indicate the Pocketalker is On. Increase the volume by rotating the knob further towards the top or decrease the volume by rotating the dial down

  7. Adjust the tone on the left side of your Pocketalker. Turning the tone control towards the top increase the high frequencies and turning it down increase the low frequencies


Using the Microphone (as shown in the image)

  1. Plug the microphone into the extension cord

  2. Plug the free end of the extension cord into the microphone jack

  3. You can use the microphone clip included in the box on the person speaking. You may also use it on your TV speaker (as shown in the second image below)

  4. You can also use the neck loop to keep the Pocketalker comfortably around your neck (Image 3)
