Wax guard/Filter/Prowax these are all interchangeable words
“Wax guards are meant to collect any wax or debris from our ear canal- to protect our hearing aid speaker. When a wax guard becomes plugged it is just “doing its intended job”. Based on how much ear wax you have in your ear it could take 5 minutes or 5 months for the filter to become plugged. When a wax guard is plugged, your hearing aid will seem dead/broken because the sound is being trapped inside your hearing aid. Think of it like your kitchen sink plug being blocked with food scraps, once we clear away the food scraps the water drains perfectly.”
When is doubt, Change your wax guard again!
