Notification sounds in Samsung phones not working? Print

If your hearing aids are connected to your Samsung phone, and everything is audible except notification sounds, you may wish to try this possible solution.


First, go into the Galaxy Store. This is different than the Play Store and is only available on Samsung phones:

Next, search for the Sound Assistant app. This app is free as shown below. There is another similar app with the same name but isn’t free. Don’t be fooled!

Once the app is installed, run it and access Advanced settings as shown below:

In this menu, select Alerts through headphones:

You will now see options to enable or disable various notifications:

Set them however you like, and hopefully this works! You may need to restart the phone for the changes to take effect.
