The wax filter (Cerustop) is a little basket to collect ear wax or debris and protect your hearing aid speaker. When the basket is full it needs to changed/replaced as it will be blocking sound from traveling out of the speaker. When the wax filter is plugged your hearing aid will seem to be “dead”.
