Note: The curled wire on the Oticon Zeal hearing aid acts as the Bluetooth antenna. Please do not cut, shorten or modify the wire as this can affect the hearing aids, wireless connectivity and performance, requiring repair or replacement.
Pairing steps:
Turn on Bluetooth: Open Settings > Connections / Connected devices> Bluetooth> switch On.
Open Oticon Companion: Install from Google Play if needed, then open app.
Follow the on‑screen prompts: To grant required permissions, including Bluetooth, notifications, and location access.
Restart your hearing aids: Place them in the charger, wait 10 seconds, then remove them.
Tap “Pair Now”: In the app, tap Pair Now and keep your hearing aids within 20 cm / 8 in of your phone.
Wait for detection: The app will search and show your hearing aids on the screen.
Select your hearing aids: Tap the name of your hearing aids.
Confirm pairing: If your phone asks to pair, tap Allow / Pair.
Finish setup: Once connected, tap Continue in the app.
