Enabling Fall Detection in My Starkey App
Enabling Fall Detection in the My Starkey App will automatically send out notifications with your location to pre-selected contacts if a fall is detected.
For iPhone Users:
Download My Starkey App in Apple Store.
In your iPhone Settings go to Accessibility, then Hearing Devices.
Restart your hearing aids by placing them in their charger for several seconds, then remove them. For disposable battery hearing aids, simply open and close the battery doors.
You should see your hearing aids appear on the hearing device list.
Now select “not paired.”
Next, you’ll receive two pairing requests. Select “Pair” for each.
Now, open the My Starkey App that you just downloaded.
Select “get started.”
Accept the terms of use.
Select “OK” to allow the app to use your Bluetooth.
The app will search for your hearing aids.
Once you see your hearing aids detected, select “Continue.”
Create your My Starkey account.
You can choose to allow tracking of hearing aid data, activity, analytics and location for best user experience by selecting continue and “allow while using app”.
Select “Got it,” and you will now be in the Home Screen.
For Android Users:
Download My Starkey App in Google Play Store.
Open the My Starkey app.
Select “get started.”
Accept the terms of use.
Select “Continue” to set up your hearing aids.

Accept the Bluetooth pairing requests.
Create your My Starkey account.
You can choose to allow tracking of hearing aid data, activity, analytics and location for best user experience by selecting continue and “allow while using app”.
Select “Got it,” and you will now be in the Home Screen.
ENABLE FALL DETECTION
Step 1. In your My Starkey App home screen, tap the Health icon at the bottom
Step 2. Scroll to additional set-up and tap Set up Fall Alerts
Step 3. Tap Next. Allow the app to access your contacts by selecting OK
Step 4. Select a contact, and tap Send in the top right of your screen to send the invite. You can then invite another contact. You may invite up to 3 contacts.
Important Note: you can cancel sending a fall notification in the event of a False Alarm by hitting Cancel, I’m ok on your phone screen.
