Use a soft dry cloth to clean the outside of the thin tube and dome.
Remove the dome from the thin tube.
Hold the adapter firmly, then disconnect the thin tube connector from the hearing aid by pulling it off.
Insert the cleaning wire into the tube. Push the wire all the way in the thin tube until it comes out through the other side. Then pull it out.
Re-attach the dome and thin tube connector to the hearing aid adapter by pushing the thin tube connector into the hearing aid adapter.
Make sure that the tube and dome are kept free of ear wax at all times to prevent your hearing aids from becoming plugged.
